Today in Zvecan municipality will be held the first extraordinary session of the Municipal Assembly and one of two agenda items is - "the adoption of the budget for 2015 under the direction of the Ministry of Finance." Sessions in Zvecan, Leposavic and North Mitrovica begin at 15 pm, and in Zubin Potok at 17:00.

In is expected that the municipal councils will adopt the amended draft budget for 2015 at the extraordinary sessions of the four Municipal assemblies in northern Kosovo. Pristina previously refused to approve the budgets, since workers of health and educational system were not included in the municipal budgets. It is planned that municipal MPs will adopt these amendments after obtaining certain guarantees from Pristina. Serbs have refused to engage schools and hospitals in the budget proposals, expecting that these issues will be solved through the Community/Association of the Serbian municipalities, and in early March Pristina blocked municipal budgets.
