Kosovo Central Election Commission (CEC) has appointed the MP from the Serbian List Srđan Popović, instead of the MP Velimir Rakic who died in a car accident on 2 April, stated CEC member Nenad Rikalo.

Rikalo added that according to CEC data Srđan Popović was next candidate on the Serbian List by the number of votes he received in last extraordinary elections in Kosovo.

Srđan Popović was until recently the director of the Communities’ Office in the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of Kosovo.
