Djuric: Pristina uninterested in agreement (RTS)
Pristina refused to agree on telecommunications and the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities. Serbia is ready to continue the negotiations, but so far there is no exact date for the resumption of dialogue in Brussels, Djuric notes.
Marko Djuric, visiting the RTS, said that Pristina has not been interested to reach an agreement and that at one point it looked as if the talks would be suspended.
"Indeed for three years, we have not seen such behaviour of Pristina. Complete lack of interest for the deal was apparent. After insisting of mediator, to reach an agreement, the talks have, however, resumed. At one point it seemed that Pristina wants to leave the talks, and in the end they, however, have found an excuse not to accept the document, "said Djuric.
On the question, how he interprets the statement of Isa Mustafa that an agreement was reached on all four "hot" topics, Djuric indicated that it was politically irresponsible, but it was, nevertheless, part of Pristina tactic.
"Thaci and southern Kosovska Mitrovica Mayor Agim Bahtiri at one point said that has been achieved agreement on the bridge, we joked that it was possible that the two had agreed," Djuric said underlining that on the bridge there is still no agreement and that negotiations were so delicate that only one word decides how the Serbs will live in in Kosovo.
When it comes to the Community of Serbian municipalities, Djuric said that among the items that have been provided was that Serbia can directly invest in the ZSO, and that the investment will be an exempt from taxes and duties, that there will be the Executive Council, and the Council where will be all influential Serbs from Kosovo.
However, Djuric reiterates that only when the document is signed, he will be able to speak more.
