The deputy director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija Dusan Kozarev has refuted yesterday’s statement of the Kosovo minister Edita Tahiri that the Peace Park over Ibar River in Mitrovica will be removed on 1 October, and added that such statements are irresponsible and counterproductive.

Kozaerev said to Tanjug  agency that unlike Tahiri, Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa stated that agreement is on sight. “During the last meeting of the prime ministers in Brussels we also noticed statements of Hashim Thaci and the Mayor of South Mitrovica Agim Bahtiri that the issue of the Peace Park is settled, even though no one has talked with us over that issue,” explained Kozarev.
