New round of dialogue the key moment for A/CSM (RTS)
The coordinator of the Steering Team for the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities (A/CSM) Ljubomir Maric said to RTS that he expects the new round of the dialogue in Brussels to result with decision on creation of the A/CSM. Maric added that Belgrade has received signals that there could be provoking statements coming from Kosovo Albanian leaders.
Maric said to RTS that establishment of the A/CSM is expected since people in Kosovo and Metohija supported the Brussels Agreement exactly for that cause. He went on to say that this is the key moment for establishment of the A/CSM.
When asked whether he expects new conditions coming from Pristina, Maric said that Belgrade has got signals that there might be certain provoking statements of the daily political purposes and that people in Kosovo believe that A/CSM will have executive competencies.
Maric further said that only few months are needed for establishment of the A/CSM if an agreement is reached about it in Brussels, and voiced expectation that there won’t be any obstacles in the implementation of such agreement.
He concluded that it was planned for ten municipalities to be part of the A/CSM, and added that two municipalities which are supposed to establish later, Priluzje and Gora, would express their will about joining the A/CSM after they are formed.
