No unilateral decisions or reciprocity measures (Akter)
President of the Serbian list Slavko Simic says that he agreed with the representatives of the Kosovo Government that there would be no unilateral decisions taken, as was the sending of the agreement on the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities to the Constitutional Court for review, and that there will not be reciprocal measures related to personal documents and vehicle registration plates.
Simic told the Beta news agency that these talks were conducted the previous days and with the mediation of the Head of EU Office in Kosovo, Samuel Zbogar and certain influential embassies in Kosovo.
According to Simic, it was agreed that there will not be any announcement on reciprocity measures, when it comes to identity documents and license plates issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and their use in Kosovo.
"It will not happen absolutely. I've had conversations with all the relevant factors in Pristina. We have firm guarantees that there will not be unilateral decisions or any reciprocity measures in the future," Simic said.
Simic also said that he received firm guarantees from representatives of Kosovo institutions that the question of the constitutionality of the Agreement on the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities would be assessed by the Constitutional Court of Kosovo as soon as possible.
