EPS: Unpaid electricity bills to be re-programmed (RTS)
"EPS Trgovina" and "Elektrosever" won’t be new companies and there won’t be new employees, said executive director of the Serbian Energy Company (EPS) Aleksandar Obradovic, and added that these will be only two departments through which EPS will do business throughout Kosovo territory.
Obradovic said to RTS that authorities in P ristina have agreed, within the Brussels agreement, that EPS would function legally throughout Kosovo and that this is part of the agreement about creation of ‘EPS Trgovina’ and ‘Elektroserver’ in northern Kosovo. He reminded that energy was one of the most disputable issues in Brussels talks and added that two companies would offer services throughout Kosovo, what hasn’t been the case so far.
Obradovic also said that bills have not being paid regularly in the north for a long time and that citizens and companies will be offered a re-programming that would help them to cover unpaid bills, and added that bills will have to be paid regularly in future.
