One person wounded in explosion in Mitrovica North (B92)
A Kosovo Albanian was wounded and eight cars were damaged in an explosion that took place in north Kosovska Mitrovica on Sunday. The incident happened around 13:00 CET, Kosovo police regional chief of operations Zeljko Bojic told Tanjug, and added that explosive device used was most probably a hand grenade.
The blast took place in a multiethnic neighborhood in Mitrovica North while the person injured was engaged in the repair works on a nearby facade of one of the three skyscrapers that this area is known for. Eight vehicles parked in the vicinity were damaged, said Bojic and added that the investigation is ongoing.
