EU: The position of the Constitutional Court on the establishment of the ZSO must be respected (RTS)
The European Union has "taken note of the position of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo to be formed Association / Community of municipalities with Serbian majority", according to Belgrade-Pristina agreement, and stresses that "expects all parties concerned to respect that decision."
Maja Kocijancic, Spokesperson for EU High Representative Federica Mogherini, reported the position of the EU to Beta news agency and stated that, according to it, "as quickly as possible a legislative act of the government of Kosovo can be adopted, which implements the Agreement and Statute" of the Association/Community of Serbian municipalities that derives from it.
Maja Kocijancic also said that "early in 2016" was expected the next meeting at a high level, between Belgrade and Pristina, in the framework of the dialogue.
She stressed that "the two sides are discussing on the implementation of issues in the framework of dialogue and normalization of relations and they agree to move forward in resolving all issues."
"It is therefore expected," underlined Maja Kocijancic, "that the two sides will consider the extent to which the Brussels agreement was applied and the agreement from August" on the principles for drafting the statute of the ZSO.
