Vucic with Breedlove on the role of KFOR (Tanjug)
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic met today in Belgrade with the Nato Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Philip M. Breedlove, and expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with KFOR, whereas Breedlove thanked Vucic for efforts invested in preserving stability in the Western Balkans which is a precondition for economic and any other progress.
Vucic stressed that KFOR has a key role in protection of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, as a guarantor of their safety. He also voiced hope that cooperation between Serbian Army and Nato in the frame of program Partnership for Peace, will be enhanced aimed at developing capacities for contribution to international peace and stability.
Breedlove stated that KFOR will continue with fulfilling its mandate in providing security in Kosovo and Meothija and added that there are many opportunities for enhancing cooperation between Nato and Serbian army.
