Kosovo Ministry for Communities and Return each day receives complaints related to property rights of the displaced persons. However, Ministry is not able to solve these problems, because it is not in its mandate, said Minister Dalibor Jevtic to the representatives of the delegation of the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (BPRM). At a meeting with representatives of BPRM, Minister for Return stressed that it is very important that the law on property rights is well defined. “One of the barriers to successful return is exactly this problem,” said Minister Jevtic during the meeting, stressing that the Ministry through a regional initiative, which was launched in 2014 in Skopje, gave recommendations concerning property rights, which was subsequently adopted by the Government of Kosovo."
