Ðurić: Pristina to demonstrate whether it is on the side of peace or terror (Kontakt plus radio)
Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić, on the occasion of an armed attack on Serbs near Viti/Vitina, warned all the extremists in Kosovo not to play with lives and safety of the Serbs and has requested from the authorities in Pristina to finally show by actions whether they are on the side of peace or terror.
"This disturbing incident occurred on the day when Serbs in Kosovo mark the anniversary of the death of the reapers in Staro Gracko, who were killed brutally and treacherously in a gunfire, as it was today shot at the village Binač, which proves that terror and terrorists are not only part of the picture of the dark past than are characteristics of the current reality in our southern province," said in a statement, Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
As he says, normal society is not created by ceremonial lying of wreaths at the monument to victims of terror, as some representatives of the provisional institutions in Pristina think, but with honest work in combating extremism and by punishment of criminals.
"I expect, therefore, not only condemnation of the terrorist attack in Vitina than a concrete and comprehensive action, convincingly announcing that chauvinism is not the ruling ideology in Kosovo, and that terrorists do not enjoy the sympathy of the Albanian political elite," said the statement.
