Serbian Police Director at the regional conference in front of the Kosovo flag (Vesti, KoSSev)
The police directors of Serbia, Kosovo, Albania and FYROM have participated at the regional conference in Skopje. The conference was organized in order to strengthen cooperation between the police of the Western Balkans and coordinate further action in relation to terrorism and organized crime in the Balkans, stated the EU mission in Kosovo.
The EU mission has helped maintaining of the event and the host was the Director of the FYROM police, Mitko Tsvetkov. During the conference, before the delegations were flags of "the countries" as well as during the group photo. Thus and the Acting Director of Police of Serbia, Vladimir Rebić, found himself in front of the flag of Kosovo.
During the conference, the directors of the police from the region agreed, adds EULEX, to intensify the exchange of information and to identify ways for faster exchange of information.
There was no announcement that representatives of the Serbian and the Kosovo police will participate in the event, or that the event was held, nor from the Serbian Ministry of Interior nor from Kosovo.
As stated by EULEX, the directors of the police were accompanied and by their directors for investigation.
