Rašić: Constitutional Court institutionalized (KIM radio)
"The Constitutional Court maybe unwittingly had become an instrument of political decisions," told RTV KIM, Deputy Nenad Rašić about the decision of the Constitutional Court to reject the Serbian List's request to assess the constitutionality of the Trepča law.
"I'm disappointed with this decision. I think that courts, even the Constitutional Court should be independent. This is a record deadline for submission of the decision, to not to deal with this case. It forces us to think that even the Constitutional Court is institutionalized. Perhaps the Constitutional Court unwittingly became the instrument of political decisions," said Rašić.
Meanwhile, Nenad Rašić has denied the Deputy Minister for Local Self-Government of Kosovo and advisor of the Kosovo Prime Minister, Bajram Gecaj that the Kosovo government urged the Serbian List for a meeting on the occasion of solving situations that were resulting from their boycott.
"If the prime minister's adviser is trying to invite us through media, I think that one can notice in principle whether he seriously wants it or not. This is not an invitation, it is a statement that has no technical or political support," said Rašić.
