Stojanović about the Serbian presidential elections and the Kosovo Government's decision to appropriate the assets of SFRJ (Serbian media)
Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic says that he sees no problem for holding elections in Kosovo for the President of Serbia, and told reporters that he expects that they will be held, unless someone in Pristina "from strange, their own ideas, decides otherwise."
The decision of the government in Pristina, to seize the property of SFRY (Yugoslavia) and Serbia, is legally unfounded and further will complicate the Serbian-Albanian relations, said Stojanovic to the Radio-Television of Serbia (RTS). He also said that the decision was made "semi-quietly," that has no legal effect and that it was a one-sided political move for the daily political use.
The Government of Kosovo decided to register the Republic of Kosovo as the owner of all immovable property, which was under the name of Yugoslavia, Serbia and the Autonomous Province of Kosovo.
The property includes the property of the state and military administration, and the property of former socio-political organizations.
