Djuric and Rakic met in Belgrade today (KoSSev portal, RTK 2)
Chair of Srpska Lista, Goran Rakic and Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric met today in Belgrade, Serbian media reported.
Statement of the Office for Kosovo said the two officials spoke about the political situation in Kosovo and the position of the Srpska Lista in regard to the establishment of new government in Pristina.
Djuric said that extraordinary electoral results of Srpska Lista in parliamentary elections in Kosovo and political unity strengthened position of the Serb people in Kosovo and their capacities to more effectively strive for their rights and interests, fully supported by the Serbian Government.
Meanwhile, Rakic stated Srpska Lista has clearly defined program and aims, as well as capacities to struggle for these aims within the institutions in Kosovo.
He also said modalities of engagement of the Serb politicians in Pristina institutions would depend upon stances of the Albanian politicians toward the rights and interests of the Serb people in Kosovo.
Both officials agreed it is important that Serbs from Kosovo take an active participation in the internal dialogue on Kosovo.
