“Vucic under investigation of Anti-Corruption Agency” (Danas)

The Anti-Corruption Agency could warn publicly Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic as he at least, seven times, misused the Prime Minister function speaking about the activities of the Serbian Government during his presidential campaign, Danas daily reported today.

According to Danas, Anti-Corruption Agency confirmed there is “a verification process ongoing” as to see whether Vucic breached the Law on Agency that prohibits political officials to “use public resources and gatherings he/she participates at and meetings he/she has as an official, for the promotion of political parties, respectively political subjects.” Danas further reported that Aleksandar Vucic needs not to worry as the Anti-Corruption Agency since 2010 took only two measures against officials, and one of them was later annulled by the Agency Committee.
