Djuric: It's good that it came to the cooperation in the investigation of Ivanović's murder (Blic)
Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric says that it is good that cooperation between Serbian and Kosovo institutions has occurred in the investigation of the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, Belgrade based daily Blic reports.
- It is something to be praised and something to be intensified, because we cannot be satisfied until killers are brought to justice, whatever nationality, political orientation or the background. I think that this is a vital interest of the Serbian people in Kosovo - said Djuric in Nis after the round table was held within the framework of the internal dialogue on Kosovo.
He added that he had tried to help Oliver Ivanovic as much as he could, while Ivanovic was in prison and that he visited him several times personally, and that he was constantly in contact with his family.
-I did not agree with Ivanovic about local elections.
- I think that the Serbs in KiM need to be unique. Here, we can compete, but in KiM we do not have that luxury. Unity alone means survival - said Djuric.
The round table within the internal dialogue on Kosovo was held at the University of Nis, organized by the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, a working group of the Government of Serbia to support internal dialogue and the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.
