Abbot Sava Janjic: Drawing maps and threats lead to chaos (Kontakt plus Radio)

Abbot of the Serbian Orthodox Church Visoki Decani Monastery, Sava Janjic met with the members of the European Council for Foreign Relations delegation, headed by Carl Bildt, Kontakt plus radio reported.

As Abbot Janjic wrote on his Twitter profile, following discussion about current issues in Kosovo he showed the church to his guests.

“I am very glad that the European representatives highly respect the importance of preservation of our medieval heritage in this area. I particularly indicated that it is important that the dialogue on Kosovo must be in function of the future of the vulnerable smaller communities and that hasty solutions may have detrimental consequences for the Balkans and represent a wrong choice which I am sure the EU will never support.”

“I also emphasized that violence and threats, redrawing of new borders which intimidates the people is a road back to the chaos of the 90ies,” Abbot Janjic said, Kontakt plus radio reported.
