Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic met in Pristina with the European Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker, EU High Representative Federica Mogherini and EU Enlargement Policy Commissioner Johannes Hahn, Serbian media reported.
During the meeting Jevtic emphasized the need to establish the Association of the Serb Municipalities as soon as possible as a precondition for substantive continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.
He also assessed the dialogue as crucially important, since it is the only way to resolve all unresolved issues Albanians and Serbs are having in Kosovo, media further reported.
Jevtic said that the establishment of the Association of the Serb Municipalities would ease the life of Serbs in many areas, adding there are numerous problems, some of them hampering returns process for a long time, including usurped properties that need to be resolved.
Jevtic also mentioned the need for better and more secure economic environment in returns sites and that internal dialogue on Kosovo launched by the Serbian President Vucic is important for the future relations in the Balkans, Serbian media reported.
