Simic: The integration of Serbian judges contributed the quality of judicial system (Kontakt plus radio)
MP of the Serbian List, Igor Simic says that the Kosovo Judicial system has increased its quality with the integration of Serbian judges, reports Kontakt plus radio.
According to the statement of Serbian List, during the Tuesday’s session of the Assembly Committee on Judicial, Legislative and Constitutional Framework Matters in Pristina, the report was submitted by the President of the Judicial Council, Nexhat Idrizi.
On this occasion, the process of integration of judiciary in northern Kosovo was pointed out as a success, along with the good relations that exist within courts between judges and employees.
The only Serbian representative in this Committee, Igor Simic expressed his gratitude to the Judicial Council for the implementation of the reached agreement on the judiciary in accordance with the Belgrade-Pristina agreement, reports Kontakt plus radio. He emphasized the need to specifically promote the process of arbitration and mediation in the coming period as a way to reduce the number of cases, resolve the disputes more quickly, and for citizens to obtain justice more quickly.
Representative of Self-Determination in the Committee has criticized the manner in which the Brussels Agreement was being implemented and expressed doubts about the quality of the appointed judges, with special emphasis on the work of a member of Judicial Council Radojka Trifunovic and the work and prior engagement of Judge Nikola Kabasic in the period 2000-2003, the radio reports.
