Dacic: Nonsense, the German delegation will not come to Belgrade (N1, Politika)
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic denied allegations that a German delegation with a proposal for a legally binding agreement on Kosovo will arrive to Serbia, N1 broadcaster reports.
"It's nonsense, nobody comes," Dacic told the Belgrade based daily Politika.
According to Politika, Dacic denied not only the arrival of a German delegation, supposedly led by the minister or state secretary of the foreign ministry, but also unofficial allegations of their proposal to grant Kosovo an observer status in the UN as Palestine, reports the broadcaster.
President of the Forum for Ethnic Relations Dusan Janjic said yesterday that the German delegation will come to Belgrade and that it brings the concept of a legally binding agreement, which Serbian and Kosovo officials should sign by the end of the year, but later explained that it was not about the concept of an agreement rather the key points of German policy towards the Western Balkans.
"The concept of an agreement has not been made. What is being worked on and remains to be written down is what they see as the key points of Germany for the Western Balkans, and that will be an internal document," Janjic said.
