“Vucic and Mitchell exchanged stances on attack against Djuric” (B92)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke yesterday over the phone with USA State Department Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, Wess Mitchell, Serbian media reported referring to a press announcement posted on the President’s website.

“In a long and open talks, the President Vucic and USA official Mitchell exchanged stances over a brutal attack against the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric, that happened on Monday in the north of Kosovo and Metohija,” the press statement reads. It adds, the both interlocutors agreed that preservation of peace is a crucial prerequisite for continuation of any talks on the future of the region.
