COM KFOR Major-General Salvatore Couci visited yesterday Gracanica municipality and met with Mayor Srdjan Popovic. The topics discussed included security situation, municipal plans and possibilities how KFOR could assist, Vecernje Novosti reported.

“KFOR is always there for you, with its Liaison-Military Teams (LMT). Although I had a pleasure to visit towns in Kosovo in order to better understand the situation, it is not enough to read reports, but it is needed to meet with people and see the situation on the ground,” General Couci said, adding that Gracanica municipality should be an example, as to how one municipality should function, Vecernje Novosti reported.
