Fatherland Movement: Vucic is truly fighting not for southern Serbian Province, but for creation of Greater Albania (NSPM)
In a press statement issued this week, Fatherland Movement pointed out that “the message of Chinese Ambassador to Belgrade Li Manchang to the Serbian authorities not to hurry to resolve the status of Kosovo and Metohija is a sincere and friendly advice”, because “they waited for nearly a hundred years to take back Macau from the Portuguese and Hong Kong from the British and that Resolution 1244 clearly states that Kosovo and Metohija is part of the Republic of Serbia,” NSPM political portal reported.
Fatherland recalled the statement of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, which he made in May this year, during the visit of President Vucic when he said he “hopes that the solution for the issue of Kosovo and Metohija would be in line with the UN SC Resolution 1244” and therefore Fatherland reminds that “division and delineation are contrary to the Resolution 1244”.
Fatherland underlined that in the past few days “we are witnessing the cannonade of criticism of current authorities against Bishop of Raska and Prizren Teodosije” because of the stance of Eparchy against potential partition and that Bishop is being “attacked” by analysts and politicians, such as Minister Nebojsa Stefanović and Aleksandar Vulin.
Fatherland added they also think that “President Vucic is fighting, but not for the southern Serbian Province, but for the creation of Greater Albania”.
“In his effort to get rid of Kosovo-Metohija, he said that if we get one meter of Kosovo it would be a great success. Translated, this means that the President believes that Kosovo is no longer ours, and that some meter should be given to us by someone. By Albanians presumably. And according to the human and divine laws, from the London Peace from 1913 to Resolution 1244 SB, the ownership deeds (on Kosovo) are ours.”
“In his lobbying for the surrender of Kosovo, Aleksandar Vucic is minimizing the number of Serbs in Kosovo and increasing the number of Albanians. He holds it against the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija that they have personal documents of the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo, while he does not have them. It is hypocritical, because it was precisely him who forced them to accept separatist documents by realizing the Brussels agreements. As for the documents of the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo, the “Serbian List” is in the lead,” Fatherland Movement underlined.
The Movement also opined that in order to accomplish the demarcation from Albanians, “regime in Belgrade has launched a wide campaign” and points out that this campaign is about spreading the false information about the number of Albanians in south and other parts of Serbia, like 11,000 Albanians in Nis for instance, which is just “a campaign to make it easier for Aleksandar Vucic to divide and delimitate Kosovo,” NSPM reported.
