Hashim Thaci, Prime Minister of Kosovo, met today in New York with Serbia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic.

Close sources to the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, told Tribuna that they had lunch at a restaurant in Manhattan. This meeting was reportedly mediated by the Office of the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel. According to this source Thaci and Dacic discussed continuance of the dialogue for normalization of the relations between Serbia and Kosovo, which is a pre-condition for both parties to move forward in the process of the EU membership.

Tribuna tried to get an official confirmation about this meeting, however, it could not reach any of the officials that are accompanying Thaci in New York.
