First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dačić said that there is no consensus of large countries, primarily Russia and China, to remove the topic of Kosovo from the UN agenda and to abolish the UN mission in Kosovo or to repeal the Resolution 1244.

The candidate for Prime Minister from the Vetevendosje movement, Albin Kurti, told Serbian weekly “Vranjske” that if he becomes the new Prime Minister of Kosovo, he would propose creation of a parliamentary commission which would consider the Brussels agreements reached between Pristina and Belgrade. Kurti said that an internal dialogue in Kosovo and in Serbia is required and added that he is not against reconciliation.

Acting Serbian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic called on Kosovo Serbs to vote for the Serbian list in the Kosovo elections. Today's elections in Kosovo "are of vital importance for the Serbian people, which only united can ensure their survival," sait Dacic, reported Beta news agency.

The well-known British journalist and analyst, Tim Judah, analyzed the possibility of new prime ministers in Serbia and Kosovo. He considers that such move could bring new approach at both governments as well as dialogue facilitated by the EU.

The Macedonian politician earlier on Tuesday said that Serbs and Macedonians are "brotherly people" but that "nationalist leadership of Aleksandar Vucic" is in power in Serbia.

"Serbs are the biggest and best friends to Macedonians, while the way Zaev has acted is not the way friends of Serbia behave," Dacic said.

Serbian First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said this late on Tuesday in reaction to the Albanian prime minister's interview given to the website Politico, during which he "could not rule out a union between Kosovo and Albania" if prospects of EU membership fade.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci is "continuing with provocations," Serbian First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic observed on Wednesday.

According to Dacic, after "the debacle" of Thaci's idea to form the so-called Kosovo army, he is trying to "switch the domestic public's attention" to a different topic - a genocide lawsuit against Serbia.

With the victory of PM Aleksandar Vucic in the presidential elections, the office of the head of the Serbian government has been vacated.

A new government will be formed within the next two months, Vucic said late on Sunday.

While he was still the presidential candidate of the ruling coalition and his SNS party, Vucic on one occasion remarked that he "had some names" - but would not say publicly who would replace him as prime minister.

Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić says that Belgrade is trying to be constructive, but that Pristina constantly provokes, as it happened today with preventing people to go to the pre-election rally, and setting up the barricades.

"What is this for?" asked Dačić at a news conference, adding that the elections in Kosovo are organized with the help of the OSCE, adding that he does not see why the authorities in Pristina have opposed such a decision.

Serbian First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic on Tuesday received the new ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Ri Pyong Du.

The diplomat delivered his accreditation letters to President Tomislav Nikolic, the Serbian government said.

Ri Pyong Du thus officially assumed the office of ambassador on non-residential basis accredited from Bucharest, a statement said.
