Odalovic: Serbs cannot be silent over the Pristina's deeds (RTS)

Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Veljko Odalovic, told RTS this morning that the closure of all shops in the north of Kosovo is a protest that should show the general public that the Serbs will not be silent.

"The Serbs have to raise their voices, they cannot be silence over Pristina’s deeds. Pristina provokes and blocks the topic of dialogue, in which, it is brought before the final act to fulfil its obligations, primarily to form the Community of Serb municipalities", notes Odalovic.

Mr. President, Distinguished Members of the Security Council,

I thank Secretary-General Guterres and Special Representative Tanin for the efforts they invest in implementing the mandate of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) under United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1244 (1999).

Mitchell: The US will consider the proposal to the issue of Kosovo, to be reached in the dialogue (RTS)

US Assistant Secretary of State Wess Mitchell pointed out at a meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic that the United States is open to consider with its EU counterparts the proposal for Kosovo' solution to which Belgrade and Pristina would come up in the dialogue.

Wess Mitchell expressed the US support to the continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, with the expectation that the process will bring a lasting political solution, reports RTS, quoting the Serbian Foreign Ministry announcement.
