Thaci: We do not allow return of Serbs who leave Kosovo institutions (RTK)
The President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci wrote about Belgrade’s ultimatum on eventual departure of Serb members from Kosovo’s police and other security institutions. He said it is an individual will of each member to decide on whether to stay or leave, however, whoever decides to leave, they will not be allowed to return and their positions will be immediately filled by other members of all communities.
“Being that this concerns security segments of the Republic of Kosovo, I reiterate that Serbia should immediately stop interferences and hostile actions against the institutions of Kosovo, while the international community should pay more attention to this matter,” Thaci stressed.

Kosovo’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli participated at the plenary session of Western Balkans Foreign Minister which is being held in Warsaw, co-headed by Poland’s Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz and Germany’s Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.
Pacolli spoke at the session about Kosovo’s progress and resolution of the issues with neighboring countries as well as the need to resolve inherited problems with Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The only way forward is free and good communication between our citizens, therefore the Republic of Kosovo is committed to find a solution which would facilitate this process,” Pacolli said.
Media also report about Pacolli’s meeting with the Foreign Minisgter of Greece Georgios Katrougalos during his stay in Warsaw.
Thaci to meet Hahn on Monday, they will discuss visa liberalization (media)
The Office of the President of Kosovo informed that President Hashim Thaci will meet on Monday with EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn. According to the communique, Thaci will discuss Kosovo’s integration process in the EU and visa liberalization.
Asked if there will be discussions about Kosovo’s imposed 100-percent tariff on Serbian products, the Information Office of the President replied that the President does not deal with the issue of tariff. “This is a matter of the government of the Republic of Kosovo,” the reply stressed.
Pacolli: Dialogue with Serbia is necessary (RTK)
Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli took to Facebook to write that dialogue with Serbia is necessary in order to find a solution for both countries in their path towards the European integration.
According to Pacolli, the dialogue in Brussels is not about territories or populations, but about the normalization of the relations between Kosovo and Serbia and opening way toward Euro-Atlantic integrations.
Pacilli wrote that the Berlin Process is a significant initiative which is helping the region to establish infrastructural connections, economic development and above all, facilitation and improvement of the relations in Balkans
Veseli: I expect a special court for Serbian massacres in Kosovo (RTK)
Kosovo’s Assembly speaker Kadri Veseli, as well as the Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj and the President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci participated on Friday at a commemoration of the victims of the conflict in Kosovo at Lubizhde village.
Veseli spoke at this gathering about Serbian officials’ denials of committed massacres in Kosovo. He said Kosovo will not revenge however it will request from the international community to initiate a Special Court to sentence the Serbian army for the crimes committed in Kosovo during 1998-1999.
Patriarch Irinej to visit Peja today (Koha)
Head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Irinej has arrived at Peja Patriarchy last night and held a liturgy today in the morning. During the following days, Patriarch Irinej is expected to hold liturgies at other churches in Kosovo.
Today, he will visit Decani Monastery and Serb enclaves in Kosovo.
One month detention for the war crimes suspect (RTK)
The Basic Court in Pristina has decided on the request of the Special Prosecution Office of Kosovo for pre-trial detention measure against the defendant SH.G. due to the alleged suspicion that in co-perpetration with the other suspects, committed the criminal offense of War Crimes against the civilian population. The Court issued the ruling for a one month detention for SH.G. suspected for war crimes against Albanian civilian population.
