Zbogar confident agreement will help normalize Kosovo-EU relations (koha.net)

The European Union's representative in Kosovo, Samuel Zbogar, said the agreement for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia will also help normalize Kosovo's relations with countries that have yet to recognize its independence.

Asked if the Kosovo-Serbia agreement will make the five non-recognizing member states change their position on Kosovo, Zbogar said, "I don't know. This is an individual decision of each member state. They have their reasons for their positions and they will decide on their own when they will recognize Kosovo. I believe this agreement will help normalize Kosovo's relations with the European Union."

In an interview for the Serbian section of Radio Kosova, Zbogar said the agreement goes to the benefit of Serbs living in the north.

LDK leader skeptical over Serbia's seriousness about agreement (koha.net)

Isa Mustafa, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), the biggest opposition party in Kosovo, said he was skeptical about Serbia's seriousness and readiness to implement the agreement reached in Brussels.

"Serbia is using the agreement for its progress in European integration. If the implementation of the agreement does not commence by June 20, this would be yet another deception, not only vis-a-vis Kosovo but also vis-a-vis the international community," Mustafa said.

Mustafa also talked about election reforms, saying that political parties have approximated their positions on a single election zone and open election lists.

Janjic: Compromise with northern Serbs on May 10 (indeksonline.net)

"By giving up on referendum, northern Kosovo Serbs have indicated the possibility of a compromise. There will be no referendum, and on May 10 there will be a protest in Belgrade and I predict this will be the opportunity when the version of compromise will be announced and Serbia's principal deputy prime minister, Aleksandar Vucic, will go to northern Kosovo," Dusan Janjic, director of the Belgrade-based Forum for Interethnic Relations, said.

"Northern Kosovo Serbs cannot support the Brussels agreement, but they can support the Government of Serbia and through it join the process of implementation. This would practically mean that representatives of Serbs from northern Kosovo would join the implementation team. These representatives would be selected after an agreement between northern Serbs and the government. I think a coordination mechanism will be established, bearing in mind the fact that power in those municipalities is not regulated either by Serbia or Kosovo's rules."
