​Six of the accused from the so-called “Drenica Group” continue to stay outside of detention premises. Sami Lushtaku, Sylejman Selimi, Sahit Jashari, Sabit Lushtaku, Isni Thaci and Ismet Haxha have again been admitted to the Kosovo Clinical and University Centre (QKUK) with the same health complaints that have kept them more outside detention than inside for a year now.

The accused have been admitted to the medical facility under a judge’s order which is based on medical reports. The Special Prosecution has written to QKUK asking for detailed medical files of the patients that stand accused of war crimes. The prosecution suspects the medical reports are not grounded.
