Collaku: I just signed the SAA, congratulations citizens of Kosovo (Klan Kosova)
Kosovo’s Minister for European Integration, Bekim Collaku, informed on his Facebook account that he has just signed the Stabilization Association Agreement (SAA) between Kosovo and the European Union.
“I am happy and proud to have been part of this historical moment of formal determination of the Republic of Kosovo towards the EU integration and membership. I told this to the High Representative, Mogherini and Commissioner Johannes Hahn as well.”
“I strongly believe that Kosovo is now ready to take over obligations and make required reforms for fulfillment of the required criteria for EU membership. There is no doubt that as the result of this agreement, Kosovo’s and EU’s fate will be in the future strongly bonded, and I strongly believe that this is a great and just achievement, completely in accordance with our state interest for Euro-Atlantic integrations.”
According to Colaku, this means more support for the reforms in Kosovo, starting from the war against organized crime and corruption, further strengthening of the rule of law, to the economic reforms for the increase of jobs as well as trade exchange with EU, by increasing export of the Kosovo products. All these will make Kosovo more developed and ready to join the European family.
“I am pleased that this important goal is now reached. Our entire focus will now be on fulfillment of the other very important goal, the end of the process of visa liberalization. I believe that this process will also conclude successfully, because we have fulfilled all the foreseen criteria,” Collaku wrote.
Congratulating the people of Kosovo he said that signing of this agreement is of historical importance.
