ISIL threatens Balkans: Attack on those who are against Allah’s will (Blic)
Kosovo's government, its institutions, as well as some states in the Balkans, could be the target of terrorist attacks, of the organization called the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, known as ISIL, writes Slobodna Dalmacija daily.
Kosovo’s portal Lajmet.net reports based on "reliable international sources", which claim that Western intelligence services have informed the Kosovo intelligence service about the threats, and recommended an improvement of alertness due to alleged communications of ISIL in Syria and Iraq with their cells in the Balkans.
These cells, according to the Kosovo’s portal, were given "orders to attack those who do not act according to the will of Allah," and specially to "focus on the premises of the Government of Kosovo."
Kosovo police reacted to the writing of the portal claiming that it had no information about possible threats to institutions and the citizens of Kosovo and the Balkan countries.
Portal Lajmet.net despite this reaction of the Kosovo police claims that some embassies in Pristina have warned their citizens and their organizations about possible terrorist threats, and asked them to be vigilant and strengthen controls at the entrance of the Embassies.
ISIL is an organization that was formed in April 2013th, when the Al Qaeda in Iraq reunited with similar organizations in Syria and in a short time developed into a well-funded organization and increased links with al-Qaeda cells in the world, according to Slobodna Dalmacija daily.
Meanwhile, after months of internal turmoil, ISIL was expelled from Al Qaeda.
