Krasniqi: All depends of the ZSO statute (Akter)
While representatives of the Serbian List announce the requirements for entry into the Kosovo government and partnership in the formation of institutions, political analysts see this as a threat to the strengthening of the influence of Belgrade in Kosovo.
Establishment of the Union of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) outside of the constitutional framework for a number of analysts is a very sensitive matter. But there are those who believe that there should be a general debate on the formation of the association, according to Pristina based newspaper Tribuna.
Analyst of the Kipred Institute said that the formation of association is guaranteed by the ratification of the Assembly of Kosovo, but underlines that it should be taken care of what jurisdiction the ZSO will have. "Everything depends on the statute the ZSO will have, the jurisdiction, much will depend on whether it will be within the laws of Kosovo and nothing more than what other associations have. Then everything would be fine and it would be only a political point which they are trying to reach," said Krasniqi and Tribuna reports.
Krasniqi said that it must not be allowed formation of some autonomy, and to prevent the danger, as he said, Kosovo should have a viable government. "We all know that the Serbian list is formed by Belgrade, its president was elected in Belgrade by the Serbian government and its aim is to implement the arrangements being made in Brussels but possibly also and to expand beyond what is agreed. It would be dangerous for any government of Kosovo because the Serbian government through the Serbian List could sabotage and tear down the Kosovo government any time, because it would leave the government."
