Citizens' Initiative SDP announced today that the latest attack on the former building of Kosovska Mitrovica municipality represents another in a series of provocative acts against Serbs in Kosovo.

SDP calls on the international representatives in Kosovo to use their influence and impact on calming the situation in order not to repeat the unfortunate events of the past when Serbs were expelled from Kosovo by an organized violence.

-Hardly a day goes by that Serbs are not being attacked or their property in Kosovo and Metohija, and a pertinent question is what the institutions that are responsible for the safety of citizens are doing? Are EULEX, KFOR and KPS waiting for more difficult incidents to happen, for which there is a real danger, because the greatest danger that these incidents, as a rule, pass unpunished for years - said a statement of the CI SDP.

In the statement, KFOR was called to increase its presence at critical points in the north of Kosovo, and Kosovo police to finally begin to deal with the attacks, which are frequent, because it is their duty.
