The indictments directed against return (KIM Radio)
The Association of Displaced people from Đakovica/ Gjakove announced that the indictments against Serbs from that city should serve to hamper the return of Serbs to that city. “All persons who are on the indictments, announced by the Municipal Court in Djakovica/Gjakova, on the basis of which the EULEX issued warrants, are on the list to return to Djakovica, which was submitted to UNMIK, OSCE and other international organizations. On the indictments are persons who didn’t sell their property hoping to return to their birthplace. We believe that indictments were directed primarily against the return of Serbs in Djakovica/Gjakova,” reads the statement of the Association.
The Association is resented over proposal of Mimoza Kusari, the Mayor of Djakovica/ Gjakova that Natasa Kandic, president of the Humanitarian Law is an honorary citizen of Djakovica. "Does this mean that the arrest warrants against our Serbs from Djakovica wrote the municipal leadership in collaboration with Kandic?" asked the members of this Association. They noted that on the indictment is the wife of the murdered policeman, who lives in a collective centre with three small children and which certainly could not commit crimes.
