Minister for Communities and Return in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtić expressed deep concerns due to latest incidents in Klina/Kllinë Municipality, when several attacks are registered on Serb returnees and their properties.

“We condemn these attacks because they are not leading toward the stabilization of the society and are setting in a very inconvenient situation the return, to which we all strive to. We will work in following days with all relevant factors in order to improve the situation and show to returnees that we are with them now. We will work with the local self-government to stabilize the situation, and we request from Kosovo Police to bring perpetrators to justice,” reads Jevtić’s communiqué.

Jevtić added that representatives of the Ministry for Communities and Return are on the field and in permanent communication with representatives of Serbs in Klina/Kllinë Municipality.
