Reports have been filed against several councillors from the municipality of North Mitrovica from the Srpska List to the competent courts of Kosovo for failing to report property to the Kosovo Agency for fight against corruption.

Mayor of North Mitrovica Goran Rakic is also on the list of those who failed to report property to the Agency for fight against corruption, and some of the councillors at today's regular session, said that they have already received the verdict. They were sentenced to probation and fine.

"I do not have exact data on how many application were submitted, certainly somewhere against four or five councillors. I am also on the list of the accused by the Agency, although it is clear that there was no intention to obstruct anyone, or to submit the application on time to the Agency ", said Rakic.

Rakic added that they received assurances that the representatives of the Agency will submit an explanation and request the court to suspend the proceedings. But the proceedings were initiated before the courts and prosecution, which means that there is "no return".

North Mitrovica Mayor added that they received assurances that a compromise solution will be found and that councillors may be fined.
