The Serbian list asks international community to bring Pristina to reason (Kosovo online)

''The Serbian List strongly condemns the brutal intrusion of armed special police forces in the north of Kosovo and considers it an attempt to destabilize the situation and intimidate the Serb people in North Mitrovica, '' reads the Serbian List statement on the morning action of the Kosovo Police special units in Mitrovica.

The pre-election campaign for the upcoming extraordinary parliamentary elections in Kosovo began at midnight.

Kosovo Football Association calls police to stop Red Star playing in Mitrovica (KoSSev, N1)

Kosovo Football Association Secretary Erol Salihu said on Thursday that he asked the Kosovo police and customs service to prevent the Red Star Belgrade football team from entering Kosovo next week, the KoSSev news portal reported.

The Red Star team are scheduled to play a Serbia Cup game against the Trepca team in North Mitrovica on September 25.

Holding of the RTS crew at Jarinje administrative crossing is another in a series of indicators of the problems which Serbs in Kosovo are faced with, said Aleksandar Spiric, President of Mitrovica Interim Municipal Council, reported Zvecan based TV Most.

On Thursday, Spiric told Radio Belgrade 1, inter alia, that “persistence always wins” and that RTS has now witnessed that the everyday life of the local people is full of difficulties and problems.

SDP councillors against Ksenija Bozovic's decision (RTK2)

RTK2 reports that SDP councillors in the North Mitrovica Municipality Igor Rajcic and Dusan Milunovic have condemned Ksenija Bozovic's move to the Serbian List and stated that they were not aware of this, and that they had learned about it from the media.

In such an act, Ksenija Bozovic, as they claim, has betrayed the interests of the CI SDP, them as councillors and all those who support the political struggle to find the killer of the late Oliver Ivanovic.

Residents of North Mitrovica believe that the tariffs will be abolished (RTK2)

RTK2 reported on Saturday that the decision on tariffs imposed by the Government of Kosovo on products from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in November last year was still in force.

In the meantime, many international officials have called on authorities in Pristina to revoke this decision, and recently Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova, pointed out that Pristina has violated CEFTA and SAA agreements by a decision on tariffs, wrote RTK2.

Minister of Administration and Local Government in the Government of Kosovo Adrijana Hodzic expressed concern over the situation that occurred during and after the Kosovo Police action on Tuesday, 28 May, when arrested persons suspected of smuggling, abuse of office and corruption, reports KIM radio, quoting Slobodno Srpski (Free Serbian) show with Hodzic.

Protest in Mitrovica, Serbs will remain in Kosovo (RTS)

Radio television of Serbia reported that due to yesterday's action of special forces of the Kosovo police, a peaceful protest was held in the northern part of Mitrovica.

The leader of the Serbian list Goran Rakic said that one who was strong do not show the force over the elderly and sick, as it happened yesterday.

An Albanian attacked in North Mitrovica; in Gusavac village a school broken into (KoSSev)

KoSSev portal reported that on Tuesday a Kosovo Albanian man reported to police that he was physically attacked by unknown individuals at Knjaza Milosa Street in North Mitrovica.

The portal reports that last night at 11.30 pm, an Albanian who was walking along the street was attacked by unknown persons and he suffered bodily injuries-Kosovo Police has published in their report. The victim was sent for treatment to the Mitrovica hospital. Police launched an investigation into this case.

Marko Jaksic: We’re coming to Belgrade on April 13 (Danas)

Marko Jaksic, lawyer, former councillor of the CI SDP - Oliver Ivanovic in North Mitrovica municipality and one of the organizers of the “#1 in 5 million protest” in this city confirmed to the Belgrade based daily Danas that the “citizens who participate in protests in Kosovo will come to Belgrade on April 13”.
