The Serbian list asks international community to bring Pristina to reason (Kosovo online)

''The Serbian List strongly condemns the brutal intrusion of armed special police forces in the north of Kosovo and considers it an attempt to destabilize the situation and intimidate the Serb people in North Mitrovica, '' reads the Serbian List statement on the morning action of the Kosovo Police special units in Mitrovica.

RTS: ROSU intrusion in north of Kosovo, two persons arrested (Serbian media)

Serbian national broadcaster RTS reported today that more than 25 armored vehicles and SUVs of Kosovo special police unit ROSU and around 100 police members entered the north of Kosovo and arrested two persons.

According to the Kosovo police two persons were arrested in Mitrovica North, one police officer in connection with the murder of Oliver Ivanovic and another person who was found in possession of weapon.

CI SDP also recalled that 21 months have passed since the leader of the party Oliver Ivanovic was murdered, and yet there are no concrete results of the investigation, and the killers have not been identified and arrested.

Serbian List Vice-President Milan Radoicic, who Pristina suspects of involvement in the assassination of Kosovo Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic, filed a defamation lawsuit with the Higher Court in Belgrade against the president of the European Movement of Serbs from Kosovo, Rada Trajkovic.

Trajkovic announced the news on her Twitter account, stating that she would defend herself by taking the ''polygraph test''. Radoicic himself confirmed the news for KoSSev.

Family of the murdered Oliver Ivanovic against use of his name in elections

Oliver Ivanovic's nephew said on Thursday the family told the Election Commission in Pristina they were against the usage of the late leader’s name on any election ticket, regional broadcaster N1 reported.

Aleksandar Ivanovic tweeted that his family obligation was “to protect the principles and values Oliver stood for and fought for and which for he paid an ultimate price.”

RTK2 reports that SDP councillors in the North Mitrovica Municipality Igor Rajcic and Dusan Milunovic have condemned Ksenija Bozovic's move to the Serbian List and stated that they were not aware of this, and that they had learned about it from the media.

Deputy leader of Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) and close associate of Oliver Ivanovic, Ksenija Bozovic received on Monday the third summons for a witness questioning in the case of the murder of SDP leader, Oliver Ivanovic, KoSSev portal reports.

Bozovic confirmed to KoSev that she will respond to the summons, stressing that this summons like all those sent to the associates of the murdered Ivanovic comes in a strange moment. GI SDP also perceived this as a pressure ahead of the upcoming Kosovo elections, scheduled to take part on October 6.

Rada Trajkovic: New coalition established (RTK2, Radio Kosovo 2)

RTK reported on Wednesday that some Serb political representatives south of the Ibar River have established a new pre-election coalition ahead of early parliamentary elections in Kosovo, scheduled to take place on October 6.

Meanwhile, Rada Trajkovic confirmed to Radio Kosovo 2 program in Serbian, that a new coalition had been established between her, Nenad Rasic (PDS), Dragisa Miric (NPK), Slavisa Petkovic and Branislav Markovic.

Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) assessed today that 19 months since the murder of their leader Oliver Ivanovic, investigative bodies in Pristina only create impression they are working on the case, adding “that in Mitrovica North neither street nor a square were named after Oliver Ivanovic,” despite strong promises “of Belgrade authorities”, BETA news agency reported.
