Serbian List Vice-President Milan Radoicic, who Pristina suspects of involvement in the assassination of Kosovo Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic, filed a defamation lawsuit with the Higher Court in Belgrade against the president of the European Movement of Serbs from Kosovo, Rada Trajkovic.

Trajkovic announced the news on her Twitter account, stating that she would defend herself by taking the ''polygraph test''. Radoicic himself confirmed the news for KoSSev.

Rada Trajkovic, the Chairwoman of the European Movement of Serbs in Kosovo told regional broadcaster N1 that the upcoming elections in Kosovo were “one of the last battles for the honour of Serbs and Serbia.”

Without further explaining her words, Trajkovic also said she had information that a group of people was infiltrated from Bosnia's Serb-dominated region Republika Srpska to exert pressure on the Serbs prior to the elections.

The newly formed coalition of Kosovo's Serbs will go to the polls on 6 October and participate in an unequal and difficult battle, writes Belgrade based daily Danas.

President of the European Movement of Serbs from Kosovo and member of the newly formed coalition, Rada Trajkovic, told Danas that the Serbian List has already begun campaigning against this newly formed coalition, but that it nonetheless expects solid results.

The Serbian List says that announcements of calling for an international arrest warrant have no legal significance but represent a political attack on the deputy leader of the List Milan Radoicic, reports KIM radio.

The Serbian List says that Pristina is not a member of the Interpol, as it is not a member of the UN, therefore cannot call an international warrant, rather UNMIK must do it.

By gathering evidence during the investigation, we have come to the reasonable suspicion that Radoicic worked with people who are now in custody, and who are suspected of having participated or assisting the perpetrators of the murder of the SDP leader, Oliver Ivanovic. Of course, all this has yet to be confirmed, says the Kosovo Special Prosecutor, Sylë Hoxha to the Belgrade based weekly NIN, KIM radio is quoting.

Political representatives of Belgrade and Pristina exchanged again mutual accusations related to the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, Radio kontakt plus reports.

Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric accused Kosovo leaders for the murder of Ivanovic. Djuric added “there are more and more indicators pointing out that Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Veseli and current Pristina authorities are behind the murder of one of the Kosovo Serbs leaders Oliver Ivanovic.”

Kosovo police has reacted to the information that Pristina authorities launched “Steel Ring” action, Tanjug news agency reported. The action implies blockades on the roads and checks of people and vehicles.

Asked by Tanjug news agency if it is true that Pristina has activated police units in order to block the alternative roads from central Serbia and what is the reason for it,  the police spokesperson Baki Kelani responded “that there is nothing concrete” and the police works to prevent organized crime and smuggling, undertaking actions based on legal authorization.

The former president of FC Trepca and Srpska Lista Vice-President, Milan Radoicic was elected president of the ''FA Kosovo and Metohija'' today during a constituent session of this association.

All thirty members of the ''FA Kosovo and Metohija'' who were present during the session voted in favour of electing Radoicic as their new president, the FC Trepca statement reads.

“An espionage network created a case against Milan Radoicic. By expelling Radoicic from Kosovo, Pristina wanted to weaken the Serb defense of the north of Kosovo because they knew that Radoicic was one of the key figures. They are waiting for a favorable moment to attack Serbs in the north of Kosovo,” Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic told RTS, KoSSev portal reports.

He also reiterated that Pristina and Belgrade are far from a solution.

Srpska Lista has reacted following Kosovo President, Hashim Thaci’s statement that “those who helped Milosevic and are friends with Radoicic – whom I expelled from Kosovo“ are talking about the partition. The largest Kosovo Serb party assessed Thaci’s statement as “a public and open confession that the case against Radoicic is political persecution,“ KoSSev portal reported.
