Milunovic and Rajcic expelled from the CI SDP (Kontakt plus radio, KIM radio, KoSSev)

In early September, the news that Oliver Ivanovic’s longtime associate and party colleague Ksenija Bozovic, along with another less known SDP member, Svetislav Jokic, would be joining the Serbian List in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Kosovo, shook the public.

Djuric: Outrageous pressure on Ksenija Bozovic (Serbian media)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric says that it is "terribly" important for the Serbs to be united around the Serbian List in Kosovo elections.

Djuric states that the deceased Oliver Ivanovic's party CI SDP decided to join the Serbian List in order to support their country, and strongly condemned the pressure on Ksenija Bozovic due to such decision.

Family of the murdered Oliver Ivanovic against use of his name in elections

Oliver Ivanovic's nephew said on Thursday the family told the Election Commission in Pristina they were against the usage of the late leader’s name on any election ticket, regional broadcaster N1 reported.

Aleksandar Ivanovic tweeted that his family obligation was “to protect the principles and values Oliver stood for and fought for and which for he paid an ultimate price.”

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told Belgrade based TV Prva that he was extremely happy that Ksenija Bozovic (CI SDP) had decided to join the Serbian List.

"I am very happy because of Ksenija Bozovic and others who have joined the Serbian List and the most important is the unity which opposes the attempts of Albanians and part of the international community and those who support the destruction of that unity," Vucic emphasized.

RTK2 reports that SDP councillors in the North Mitrovica Municipality Igor Rajcic and Dusan Milunovic have condemned Ksenija Bozovic's move to the Serbian List and stated that they were not aware of this, and that they had learned about it from the media.

In such an act, Ksenija Bozovic, as they claim, has betrayed the interests of the CI SDP, them as councillors and all those who support the political struggle to find the killer of the late Oliver Ivanovic.

Ksenija Bozovic summoned for third time to make statement in Ivanovic’s murder investigation (KoSSev, Serbian media)

Deputy leader of Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) and close associate of Oliver Ivanovic, Ksenija Bozovic received on Monday the third summons for a witness questioning in the case of the murder of SDP leader, Oliver Ivanovic, KoSSev portal reports.

Bozovic confirmed to KoSev that she will respond to the summons, stressing that this summons like all those sent to the associates of the murdered Ivanovic comes in a strange moment. GI SDP also perceived this as a pressure ahead of the upcoming Kosovo elections, scheduled to take part on October 6.

Rada Trajkovic: New coalition established (RTK2, Radio Kosovo 2)

RTK reported on Wednesday that some Serb political representatives south of the Ibar River have established a new pre-election coalition ahead of early parliamentary elections in Kosovo, scheduled to take place on October 6.

Meanwhile, Rada Trajkovic confirmed to Radio Kosovo 2 program in Serbian, that a new coalition had been established between her, Nenad Rasic (PDS), Dragisa Miric (NPK), Slavisa Petkovic and Branislav Markovic.

Srpska Lista will have opposition in elections in Kosovo (RFE, KoSSev)

Radio Free Europe writes that the Serbian community would have a possibility to choose who to vote for in the upcoming elections in Kosovo, given that no Serbian political party responded to a call of Srpska Lista for united participation.

Talks between political opponents of Srpska Lista are underway RFE continues, while on the other hand Srpska Lista called “for unity and that all united under a single hat, following the politics of Aleksandar Vucic take part in elections.”
