Suzana Vasiljevic, Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic media advisor, said on Friday the meeting with Richard Grenell, the US head of state Donald Trump’s envoy to Kosovo, was challenging, but could not go into the details of the talks, the Beta news agency reported.

Speaking to the Prva TV, Vasiljevic said the two spoke alone in the first ten minutes, after which the head of Serbia’s Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric joined the meeting.

He told Prva TV in the morning program that the BBC's prognosis was realistic and that four parties would enter Kosovo Parliament - Isa Mustafa's Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Albin Kurti's Vetëvendosje, Hashim Thaci's Democratic Party of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj's Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.

The German Ambassador in Belgrade Thomas Schieb said on Wednesday that Serbia needs a comprehensive agreement with Kosovo to take what he called a decisive step in its European integration process.

''Germany wants to see the comprehensive agreement reached through a dialogue,'' he told TV Prva adding that Serbia must resolve the Kosovo problem to become a member of the European Union and benefit from all the advantages of membership.

But, he added, in tactical terms, ''we should try to do everything we can to create a more favorable position for our people and country''.

The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik announced in Belgrade today that one of the possible solutions of the Kosovo issue is for the four municipalities in the north of Kosovo to remain in Serbia with Republika Srpska also joining the Republic of Serbia. ''If that is the solution, I will not oppose it,'' he told Belgrade's TV Prva, which was then picked up by Belgrade media.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told Belgrade based TV Prva that he was extremely happy that Ksenija Bozovic (CI SDP) had decided to join the Serbian List.

"I am very happy because of Ksenija Bozovic and others who have joined the Serbian List and the most important is the unity which opposes the attempts of Albanians and part of the international community and those who support the destruction of that unity," Vucic emphasized.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday that the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue could continue in December.

He said that early December, at best, would continue dialogue to normalize Belgrade-Pristina relations because of the pending parliamentary elections in Kosovo.

Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko told Belgrade based TV Prva this morning that Kosovo is an issue that needs additional international community activity and that Russia is ready to assist in establishing or renewing Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

Botsan-Kharchenko says that Russia is ready to help the dialogue if Belgrade seeks help, primarily at the UN Security Council, as well as in Russia's relations with the EU and Washington.

"There is no progress related to the imposed ban on my entering Kosovo and Metohija, while the appeals were dismissed without any justification"

Humanitarian Arnaud Gouillon, who has been sending aid to the Serbs on Kosovo and Metohija for years and was imposed a ban from entering Kosovo and Metohija on September 10, 2018, told this to Prva TV.

"I find it hard that I cannot visit Serb community in Kosovo and Metohija, I am not in a position to see my friends", he said.

We are facing difficult talks with the West, which expects a swift resolution of the Kosovo issue, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told Belgrade based TV Prva this morning.

Serbian media quotes Vucic as saying that "it is not only a matter of deadline, it is a matter of substance when it comes to KiM", emphasizing that "the problem is what we will agree".
