The continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue has nothing to do with the possible elections in Kosovo, but solely with taxes, said Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic this morning in morning TV Prva Show.

Brnabic called the current political developments in Kosovo a farce, thus answering the question how the possible elections and political turmoil in Kosovo will reflect on further dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and when its continuation can be expected at all.

Kosovo police yesterday did not allow entry into the memorial complex on Gazimestan to correspondents of the Belgrade based TV Prva and editor-in-chief of Gracanica Online portal, Andjelka Cup and Nikola Milosavljevic, reports portal gracanicaonline.info.

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic says he is not angry, but disappointed, when speaking about the upcoming meeting with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and the mild reaction of the EU towards the ROSU incursion to Kosovo North, reports portal B92, quoting Belgrade based TV Prva.

One of the lawyers of the arrested Serbs Ljubomir Pantovic told TV Prva that 31 persons have been arrested in the action of ROSU, but that there is a possibility of new arrests, reported Kontakt plus radio, quoting Belgrade based TV Prva.

As Pantovic said, there are reports that two more people voluntarily reported to the Kosovo Police Inspectorate.

KFOR spokesman Vincenzo Grasso says that yesterday's action of the Kosovo special police units was regular, and that in fact the biggest threat to peace are politicians and the media.

Asked about the situation in Kosovo this morning, Grasso says it is under control.

"Yesterday there was little tension, but luckily it was in isolated locations and it was completed during the day, so I have to say that it is peaceful," he said, during the inclusion in the morning program of Belgrade based TV Prva.

The Serbian Ministry of Interior (MUP) issued a statement late on Wednesday, following media reports that armed Albanians had stormed Kursumlija area villages.

As stated, the police station in Kursumlija received a report on Tuesday evening from workers in the area of the village of Rastelica that they had heard shooting "from the direction of the Autonomous Province (AP) of Kosovo and Metohija."

Pristina will withdraw taxes on goods from central Serbia sooner or later, President Aleksandar Vucic said, but also stressed that this cost Serbia a lot.

Asked by journalists in Davos to comment on Avni Arifi, the head of the Ramush Haradinaj's cabinet, who said that the government in Pristina could temporarily suspend taxes (pending a comprehensive agreement with Belgrade), Vucic noted in a statement for Serbia’s national broadcaster RTS that this would happen sooner or later.

Ivica Dacic spoke for Belgrade based Prva TV on Wednesday - without confirming that he is one of those who know what the Serbian plan to solve the Kosovo problem is.

The foreign minister and first deputy PM also pointed out that he "could say in detail what that plan may look like."

Marko Djuric told Belgrade based TV Prva that he would like the US ambassador to Pristina "to give a lecture" to the Kosovo's leaders - but does not believe that this will happen.

Already on Monday, the provincial government in Pristina discussed the proposal of the Pristina-Tirana agreement on the gradual abolition of border control. "This speaks to the goals of Pristina," said the director of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

The situation in Kosovo is not even among the top ten topics of US President Donald Trump and its administration, Obrad Kesic has told Prva TV.
