A group of senior officials of the German Christian Democratic Union, led by European Parliament Vice-President Reiner Wieland, visited the Visoki Decani Monastery today where they talked about the current situation in Kosovo, as well as about the monastery itself with Abbot Sava Janjic.

Momcilo Trajkovic from the Serbian National Forum of Kosovo and Metohija told the regional broadcaster N1 that the statement by Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin about the delimitation in Kosovo is a catastrophe, and that it is for a criminal responsibility.

"This division opens problems. What means division for us, 80,000 below the Ibar river? Where are we going to be? In Greater Albania? It is a call to us to leave that territory," Trajkovic warns.

''Political stakeholders from Serbia and Kosovo do not have the courage to implement the Brussels Agreement because they are rightfully scared of their own people. They have to look for a way to establish citizens’ equality and to offer solutions to facilitate their everyday life, rather than locking them up in national corrals. They have nothing to offer for a better future to their own people, but they are using the story of ethnic delimitation to obscure their political incompetence. Germany has had a clear position from the very beginning.

Russia considers unacceptable the statement made by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama about Kosovo being "a part of Albania."

This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova last Friday.
At a regular press briefing, Zakharova said that Russia cannot remain without comment on this statement. Rama also said that "unification of Kosovo and Albania is not 'plan B' but 'plan A'," Sputnik is reporting.

Ivica Dacic spoke for Belgrade based Prva TV on Wednesday - without confirming that he is one of those who know what the Serbian plan to solve the Kosovo problem is.

The foreign minister and first deputy PM also pointed out that he "could say in detail what that plan may look like."

"It is true that in Kosovo and Metohija not everything is Albanian, and not everything is Serbian, and the truth is that we have to reach a compromise."

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said this in an interview for the espreso.rs website.

He is convinced that "those who do not understand that will lead Serbia into the greatest tragedy from which we will exit defeated, more defeatedg than ever."

„Mr. President, whatever the attitude of the Russian Federation – we will understand it. May God keep you safe and let Russia be as big and strong as possible,“ the opposition movement ‘Otadzbina’ (Fatherland) from Kosovo wrote in a new, open letter to Vladimir Putin in connection with the proposal for the ethnic separation of Serbs and Albanians in Kosovo – for which they claim that it is represented by the Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic.

Ivica Dacic says that Serbia will in 2019 certainly intensively deal with the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, and "probably in a different format than until now."

"No one can say - we will solve Kosovo and Metohija next year, at least no serious politician in our country and abroad. As far as I'm concerned, I would like to have an agreement and a solution tomorrow, but that's not realistic, many more things need to fall into place," the foreign minister told the weekly Nedeljnik.

National People's Party leader Vuk Jeremic said that Kosovo flag in Notre-Dame do not 'affect too much' the state top of Serbia, reports Belgrade based daily Danas.

He also said that representative of Kosovo would not have been invited to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, if the "performance" of Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci was not foreseen for this occasion.

Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and his Romanian counterpart Teodor Meleșcanu opened on Tuesday in Timisoara the conference "Security Challenges in the Balkans", Serbian media reported.

Dacic said in connection to the insistence to reach the solution within the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina but which would not affect others, that one forgets that solutions were made which destroyed the territorial integrity of Serbia.
