Leader of Peoples’ Party (NS) Vuk Jeremic called for the boycott of elections in Serbia, arguing that in that case all decisions made by the institutions elected after the poll and international agreements that the authorities would sing, including the eventual agreement on “delineation” by which Pristina would get seat in the UN would be illegitimate, Kosovo-online portal reports.

Opposition People’s Party (NS) leader Vuk Jeremic told Belgrade daily Danas that there is no time left to negotiate with the authorities about the elections coming in the spring of 2020, adding that a boycott does not mean running from a fight.

“On the contrary, it is the most honest form of battle for the benefit of the citizens,” he said.

Leader of Peoples’ Party (NS) Vuk Jeremic said yesterday that all those who would like to “get rid” of Kosovo and Metohija should vote for Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Danas daily reports.

“(…) Kosovo and Metohija can become an independent state only by a signature of the Serbian hand on the agreement that would enable Pristina’s membership in the UN. We must not allow Vucic to do it,” Jeremic said in Pancevo during the talks with citizens and members of the organizations and parties of the Alliance for Serbia (SzS).

Leader of the opposition People's Party Vuk Jeremic said, while visiting the village Pasjane on Saturday that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic must not be allowed to make a "demarcation" deal which would be equal to recognizing Kosovo as an independent state, reported Kontakt plus radio.

According to the party's press release, Jeremic made the statement while meeting with the residents of the village of Pasjane, Gnjilane region.

Belgrade based daily Danas reports that US diplomat Matthew Palmer called the Serbian opposition to participate in the next parliamentary elections, quoting unnamed diplomatic sources.

Danas reports that Palmer told the opposition leaders that Washington does not agree with a possible boycott of elections because that would violate democratic principles.

Deputy Chair of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Main Board and Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric said yesterday Vuk Jeremic, leader of the Peoples’ Party (NS) handed over to the Kosovo Albanians international confirmation on the legality of unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo “on the plate,” TV Most reports.

In a written statement distributed to the media, Djuric said Jeremic should look in the mirror first before daring to say a word ‘grand-treason’ because he would see the face there that suits that description the best.

Serbian List states that today’s press release of Slavisa Ristic and Marko Jaksic has shown all of the hypocrisy, both their own and also the hypocrisy of Djilas's and Jeremic’s Alliance for Serbia, reports Zvecan based TV Most.

The announcements of the conflicts in Kosovo are „irresponsible, shameless and a staged farce“ and nothing is further from the reality than the claims that the negotiations have failed, Leader of Peoples’ Party and one of the leaders of the Alliance for Serbia, Vuk Jeremic stated, KoSSev portal reports.

Vuk Jeremic, the leader of the People's Party and one of the leaders of the Alliance for Serbia, stated that most of the Serbs would never accept Kosovo as an independent state. Jeremic said this during lectures at the Diplomatic Academy of Georgetown University, quoted RTK2 the National Party of Serbia statement.
