Overshadowed by the Czech President Milos Zeman's statement that his country might reconsider the decision on recognition of Kosovo independence, the Western Balkans’ leaders and the so-called Visegrad Group (V4) met in Prague without Pristina’s top politicians, the Beta news agency reported.

However, Kosovo is represented by its Charge d'Affaires, officially due to internal politics related to October 6 early elections, but unofficially, according to the Czech CTK news agency, because of Zeman’s statement.

The continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue has nothing to do with the possible elections in Kosovo, but solely with taxes, said Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic this morning in morning TV Prva Show.

Brnabic called the current political developments in Kosovo a farce, thus answering the question how the possible elections and political turmoil in Kosovo will reflect on further dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and when its continuation can be expected at all.

Serbian prime Minister Ana Brnabic said in Poznań on Friday that her Kosovo counterpart Ramush Haradinaj told her the news on Pristina’s ban on Belgrade's officials’ visits to Kosovo was fake news, the Beta news agency reported.

Brnabic, who attends the Western Balkans Summit in Poland, as a part of the Berlin Process, said she was surprised that the advisors to “the so-called Foreign Minister spread fake news,” adding “she was glad (the news was fake since that reduces tensions in the region).”

Official Belgrade will react to Pristina’s travel ban on Serbian officials, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Thursday.

Pristina’s behaviour affects regional cooperation, security and ties, she said and added that the Kosovo authorities have stepped up what she said are provocations including the ban on all Serbian officials traveling to Kosovo.

“That is something that we will react to,” Brnabic said.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Wednesday that she sees no reason for officials from Belgrade and Pristina to meet in Paris unless the Kosovo Albanians revoke the tariffs on goods from Serbia, reported Serbian media.

“We are always prepared to sit down with people like German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron as well as people from the region to discuss problems and ways to solve them,” Brnabic told reporters in Paris after a meeting with her French counterpart Edouard Philippe.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic received on Wednesday on a farewell visit Spanish Ambassador Miguel Fuertes.

Brnabic expressed her gratitude to the diplomat for his personal engagement in improving relations between the two countries.
Fuertes underlined Spain's strong support for Serbia's further progress on the road to the European Union and stressed that this support will continue through close, friendly relations with our country, the Serbian government announced.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said in Belgrade yesterday that the abolition of Kosovo's tariffs on goods from Serbia was “a minimum of the minimum" for continuing talks with Pristina.

She added that she did not expect much from the upcoming meeting in Berlin.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke on Thursday in Belgrade at the opening of the Second Digital Summit of the Western Balkans.

Brnabic said that her government has set digitization and education as their absolute priorities in order to take advantage of all the chances that are being offered to us today.

Serbia is considering possible arbitration because of Pristina violation of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA), Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Thursday.

“At this moment, that is the only way to protect Serbia’s interests and have everyone who signed the agreement face the consequences in line with the contract they signed,” she told reporters at the 2nd Digital Summit in Belgrade.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic told the RTS in the "Oko" show, about the relations between Belgrade and Pristina, that the abolition of the tariffs is not in sight.

"I do not see that Pristina is thinking about acting constructively, in accordance with the time in which we live. Pristina is trying to sharpen the situation further and move away from the dialogue," Brnabic said.
