Serbs soon to discuss support to candidate for President of Kosovo (KIM Radio)

Minister for Communities and Return in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtić stated today that the Serbian List will present its official stance over the coming days on its support to candidates for President of Kosovo. He added that almost all MPs from this list believe that Serbs should have their own candidate.

He went on to say that the possibility of having their own candidate for President of Kosovo was informally discussed by the Serbian List, because in their view Serbs should have their own candidate for this post since, according to them, one of the three most important posts in Kosovo institutions should belong to the Serbian community.

The Head of Kosovo District (Serbia-run administrative body) Vinka Radosavljević was mentioned in the media as a possible candidate for the president of Kosovo, whereas on Monday, Minister for Local Government Administration in the Kosovo government Ljubomir Marić stated that Serbs should have their own candidate, instead of supporting other candidates for President of Kosovo.
