Bogdanovic: Serbia made too many concessions in northern Kosovo (RTK2)
MP and Chairperson of the Social-Democratic Party’s executive board, Goran Bogdanovic, stated that Serbia made too many concessions when it came to northern Kosovo, and added that he was aware of certain agreements that should have been reached as he used to be a former Minister for Kosovo.
I am not an optimist, taking into account the fact that Serbs from the north are very much against the Brussels agreement and that a considerable number of mayors from the north are, in a way, obstructing all agreements reached in Brussels, said Bogdanovic in an interview to the Center for Open Dialogue. “For 12-13 years we managed to preserve what the state of Serbia possessed in Kosovo, but we literally lost it overnight,” said Bogdanovic, referring to the presence of Serbia as a state in Kosovo, in administration and institutions where Serbs used to work and make decisions.
Bogdanovic also noted that the migration of people from northern Kosovo has been significant over the past two years , which was not the case before.
