Chairperson of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun told RTS, decision of the Pristina’s government, that adopted amendments to the law on transformation of the KSF into an army, indicates an increased unwillingness of Pristina to reach final agreement with Belgrade.
Drecun added, this is a detrimental move that is destabilizing talks currently ongoing and relate to the plan of final resolution of Kosovo and Metohija status.
He also opined that the Kosovo army would additionally jeopardize already weak inter-ethnic relations between Serbs and Albanians, security of the Serb people, and the aim of such formation would be no different than against Serb people, eventually for some interventions in the north of Kosovo.
“We must not forget that this formation would have some sort of rapid action forces,” Drecun underlined, RTS reported.
